I have always loved creating art, but as I got older, school and sports got in the way of that. I constantly found myself stressed, and unable to just have a moment to create something myself. Making jewelry became my outlet to sit down and focus on one thing. I love being able to lose track of time and work with my hands. This same quality translated to school, where I was able to pursue AP 3D and follow a sustained investigation on how organic life can be translated into organic forms and structures. Through everything, I have realized how much art and being creative mean to me. I plan to have this outlet for my whole life, and I love being able to share it with the people around me. Whether it be making bracelets with my grandma or stringing beads with Jay at the retirement home, I find that the process is very connecting. Not only do I get to do what I love, but I also form relationships along with it!
